Sacramento Volunteer Opportunities

Looking to volunteer in Sacramento? We are a children’s charity called The Emiliani Project based out of Sacramento and we are looking for volunteers with various marketing skills to help us leverage our organization’s presence. If you have the travel bug, there are also currently volunteer opportunities in Colombia where we have begun our mission to come to the aid of abandoned children suffering from the throes of abuse, hunger and violence in the city of Medellin.

Fostering Dreams

With over 100,000 children living in extreme poverty, Medellin, Columbia is a great place to begin the Emiliani Project, especially since a child dies violently there every five minutes. We have a vision. We want to protect, nurture and educate abandoned children worldwide so that they are able to live healthy and fulfilling lives. We achieve this mission by ensuring that all of our children’s needs are met, including a place to live, nutritious meals, formal education, medical care, counseling, and a loving and caring environment.

When a child doesn’t have a home or family, being able to look ahead to the future is challenging. The need to survive slowly destroys the ability to aspire for anything. Beyond providing a safe haven, and removing the worry of returning to a destitute or abusive situation, our organization gives abandoned and orphaned children an even greater gift: the ability to dream. We need lots of sponsors and supporters looking for Sacramento volunteer opportunities in order to give these children this wonderful gift. This is where you come in.

Then we need you! We are looking for talented individuals who want to volunteer in Sacramento and use their marketing talent to make a difference in a child’s life, particularly copywriters, web administrators, social media gurus, bloggers, graphic artists, and anyone else who can help our organization gain a pervasive presence. You can help drastically change the lives of abandoned and orphaned children in Colombia, and aid our organization in expanding efforts worldwide by volunteering just a few hours a month of your time.
